Llorona, Llorona

Midnight is blurry like a rapid photograph
Blinding streaks of light slamming through my skull and vibrating
Zzzzzzz Zzzzzz Zzzzzzz
There are snakes writhing around my brain
This flesh is the optimal hunting ground, so full of maggots
And I sit on this clock as it ticks with each click
Of the camera
Smile! Smile! Do a new pose…move, do something.
I have fallen asleep and started dreaming.
Zzzzzzz Zzzzzz Zzzzzzz
God, this is not where I am supposed to be.
‘Suppose this proves I am the greatest liar of all.
Zzzzzzz Zzzzzz Zzzzzzz.
