Tilby is split between Kerry and London, reading her poems at Open Mics and Rambling House events. She runs, swims and exhibits art made using trash.

In a former life, Tilby Production designed opera, feature film, and tv comedy shows. In 1984 she developed and co-produced a feature film called The Paperhouse based on Catherine Storr’s book which Tilby read at primary school.

‘Boatyard: An Bádclós’ is an excerpt from a sound piece, made with her partner, Steve Jones, for her art installation about the culture of Irish boatbuilding and life on the sea. The full version is here www.tilbysboatyard.com
