an increasing absence of humanity / the worrying inability to do anything / inertia consuming and regurgitating hate / the desire to be absolved / so much guilt fear manifesting as controversy / considering diversity as a threat / the lack of critical appraisal / too many forms / collective cognisance reduced to data / ignorance

CSAM in social media / armed goons shooting the innocent / arrogant epithets / allowing the super rich to get away with literal murder / you want me pointing at a scale from low to high / but we have passed the point of sensible appraisal / for if all this is left unchecked / here is how our sanctity / how we wither up and die

I thought that hope had left some time ago / but buried beneath / the decades of unfocused anger / wrapped haphazardly within regret / I unearthed an answer / that my emotional unavailability / was the symptom of a simple solution / I no longer require resolution / because I have now learnt to / love / myself
