We were always in the car that year the price of having a nice house in a nice area get in get
in it’s time to go where are we going our friends the supermarket the cinema the mall just for
a drive between banks of jaded shovelled snow like the wake left by the Titanic our silver car
warm in there one day you said from the back you had a question there were always
questions where’s that bus going what are we eating for tea why don’t you talk to your mum
is she mean what about your dad is he dead can a sunset be green (I said no you said yes) and
that day you asked as you stared out of window at the Swedish winter too long and too cold
Mummy, how do I come back as a leopard in my next life?
