The Penis Thinks

It is a mistake
to think
the penis has no muscle
or a brain

it wasn’t working out
you stopped loving me
and my penis knew

before I did.

stories. For some reason immediately after a shower.”

From the opposite side of the cup

When the hiccups started, we were laughing; joking even. Planning ridiculous cures. I moved around the house, silently, jumping forwards at unexpected moments but your spontaneously heaving ribcage persisted. Initial smiles diluted between us; your face clearly reflecting onlinepharmacies247.com 'enough'. Sipping water from the opposite side of the cup also began as a game but soon became a daily ritual, confirming our desperation. I patiently, in a methodical way, mopped up the inevitable spills, in the same methodical way the ambulance staff mopped up your body from the tarmac 310 exasperated days later, with that clever chemical they use to get the blood out of the grey.
