The 2009 Ink Sweat & Tears anthology is now available. In fact it should have been available weeks ago but IS&T knuckle-dragging publisher Charles Christian couldn't get his act together earlier. (Hey, who writes this stuff? Oh, yes, I do… CC) The selection – and the ordering of the work – was made by IS&T deputy editor Helen Ivory and offers a rich balance of poetry and verse. You can read more about this in Helen's excellent introduction to the anthology.
Last year we produced a print version of the anthology – which a mere two-and-a-half people bought. This year we have gone all digital with a PDF ebook version (you can download it from this page) and an Adobe Flash page-turning version immediately below. Enjoy – and feel free to pass on the PDF to everyone you know. And 'yes' Mr Christian will try harder next year.
Downloaded, Thank you.
A shame about the lack of print — I ended up with two copies last year and the recipient of the spare was very happy 🙂
Charles – have you thought about making print copies available through a print-on-demand service like lulu? then there's no waste and it should pay for itself.
The key word is 'should' pay for itself – I've heard mixed reports of Lulu & PoD recently – however I will check it out & see what it might look like.
