fragment

winter is
dead clouds
break and
a sliver
of sun
from a
chink in
the brittle
sky falls
on a
tellin cracked
eggshell white
and a
tiny star
of chionodoxa
blue as
the blue
on a
chinese teacup
heralding Spring

the ladies
chat over
a cup
of tea
as She
foretells new
life
