View
Marble sky indented,
swithering branches.
A pyramid of roofs,
the windows of Mary street.
Rosemary rising
from a Belfast sink.
Leaded glass carving
diamonds on the window.
The green wings
of a stained glass thistle
spill to milk cartons,
cereal boxes, a dripping tap
and the anarchy of shoes
as they proliferate
across the red tiled floor.
