A Light Bulb Bursts

Electricity rains like broken
glass, holding ideas too expansive
to ignite.  Air absorbs the shattered,
breathes like gasoline.  Somewhere
in shadow, a switch is primed
for contact with a print that desires
to burn the world.

A.J.
