THE MOUNTAIN HEAD
In the mountains
straight up ahead
imagine snow
as gray hair and
as the snow falls
in the mountains
the gray hair grows
and grows and spreads
throughout the head
of the mountain.
Its white braids seem
like foam and the
mountain head feels
so cold and old.
