Abundance


1.
Pinched back, propped up
overripe tomatoes
star kiss fuzzed vines.
Red cranial orbs
telecommunicating
gelatinous pink thoughts –
bite me . . bite me.


2.
Tired cornstalks, picked clean
play straight men to
seedy cabaret headliners:
Cosmos!
     Zinnia!
          Marigold!
String beans shell out.


3.
Beached zucchini
helplessly deposited
amid oregano and basil–
coincidental convenience
for bounty hunters.
