OK, we're breaking with tradition here as this poem actually has end rhymes but with the UK just getting back to work after the Christmas shut-down, it is more pertinent than usual… CC

Heinrich the Hen Teaser

Heinrich the hen teaser
sits by the door
one eye on the clock
(its a quarter past 4)
she returns from the copier
cool, calm and collated
her high heels click-clacking
her suit understated
she leans on the desk
to linger and chat
Heinrich says little
but smiles like a cat
at 5 o’clock the typing pool
waves off the day
boats strewn with orchids
go sailing away
