\nI learned that the thing about sadness is it\u2019s only comfortable for so long.
\nIt gets old but by the time it is,
\nyou\u2019re too old to change a damn thing.
\nSo pick yourself up find happiness in her smile.
\nfind pleasure in warm coffee
\nand laughter in windy days.
\nMarry her and start a family. Teach your kids it\u2019s never too late and then remember that on bad days.
\nteach them that even the worst problems can be solved with a hug from their mother.
\nand teach them that music will help them find peace.
\nTeach them the world is ugly but that it\u2019s also gorgeous
\nand it\u2019s only a matter of perspective.
\nLike everything else.
\nBut, my god, if you can teach them nothing else
\nTeach them to love foolishly
\nTeach them to have a mind that is more open than the Sea
\nTeach them that there is no sin greater than ignorance
\nTeach them to be hungry for knowledge
\nTeach them an instrument or two
\nAnd please please
\nTeach them to be their own source of happiness.<\/p>\n
