under a stress of raven, stoic,<\/span>
such beauty underneath chirp-chatter,<\/span>
radiant in the feather-white moon<\/span>
leaves still immaculately styled<\/span>
as the flocks drive on into the town<\/span>
walking,<\/span>
       dusk, fire dwindling, the mountains<\/span>
clutched to the breast-line of the sky<\/span>



* Andrew McMillan<\/span> was born in 1988. His work has appeared online and in print in places such as The London Magazine and The North.
