Flying bullet for you<\/span>

Leap lightly now,<\/span>
Leap darkly,<\/span>
The train throws<\/span>

Its classic conversation<\/span>
With England, here<\/span>
Across the rain;<\/span>

And skies like lead<\/span>
Make judges plead<\/span>
For some sun.  See,<\/span>

It's begun – the journey<\/span>
By day, lit by<\/span>
A little horizon,<\/span>

Mostly what's gone before;<\/span>
Hand over your<\/span>
Ticket, friend –<\/span>

And bend, sway, as over<\/span>
The rolling land<\/span>
Your carriage says<\/span>

What it feels to go<\/span>
Through a country<\/span>
Plain as night,<\/span>

Clear as clay;<\/span>
Not ever talking,<\/span>
Never stopping;<\/span>

Sipping Twinings;<\/span>
No bags of shopping;<\/span>
Traditionally, going,<\/span>

But disrupted, mind,<\/span>
Bit by bit, O,<\/span>
For being so happily at play.<\/span>
