\nby water-beetles balanced on prongs.<\/p>\n
\nin the corner of an eye: the bonxie –
\na dislocated shadow.<\/p>\n
\nof raw light, cumulae billowing,
\nthe ack ack of gulls.<\/p>\n
\nthe Peerie, the Muckle,
\nthe Mid Heads o\u2019Yesness.<\/p>\n
\nThe Wirvie: nothing but sheep turds,
\nrabbit droppings, scrag heather.<\/p>\n
\nNo churning voices
\nfrom the Kirn o\u2019Skroo.<\/p>\n
\nshining a fools\u2019 blessing.
\nAhead, the North Lighthouse –<\/p>\n
