Watching the Feather<\/span>
 <\/span>
Standing on the rooftop<\/span>
in a red coat,<\/span>
 <\/span>
he watched the feather float,<\/span>
first higher then spiralling<\/span>
 <\/span>
out of control.<\/span>
In the cold snowy air<\/span>
 <\/span>
many heads turned upwards.<\/span>
Which open mouth<\/span>
 <\/span>
would swallow the feather?<\/span>
He shivered,<\/span>
 <\/span>
just his toes and knees.<\/span>
It was hard to wonder,<\/span>
 <\/span>
as first his neck,<\/span>
then his skull, turned to ice.<\/span>
