Depth of Sunset<\/span>


The depth of sunset pressures air<\/span>
shining like pearl and mother of pearl<\/span>
over the chrysalis water.<\/span>
The winds understand ages changing.<\/span>
Held aloft in the shape of my wants<\/span>
I breathe as you breathe<\/span>
fluttering numb like a diver<\/span>
while the green vastness expands.<\/span>
Still we draw near undiminished<\/span>
as the day absences itself<\/span>
into the mouth of sea like a cloud<\/span>
dissolving to fall then resurrection.<\/span>
