Banished Bastards<\/span>


This is where trees wrap<\/span>
shadows about my shoulders,<\/span>
cool, uncorrupt.<\/span>
Breezes beckon, tell me time<\/span>
is well.  White Dahlias, Orange Lillies,<\/span>
gregarious pink Geraniums<\/span>
plant lush kisses, lux-filled<\/span>
on my face, available virtuous lovers,<\/span>
this season\u2019s trustworthy trailblazers.<\/span>
A weed remains I refuse to pluck,<\/span>
rather cultivate, patience sown; <\/span>
it now blooms, my corner garden ornament.<\/span>
Sunlight laps along this good day broken<\/span>
wide open splashing quotidian blue sky beauty,<\/span>
quixotic Byzantine bastards banished<\/span>
from my verdant portal,<\/span>
vociferous vitriolic vituperations erased.<\/span>
I touch stars, crystal prism tea lights hang<\/span>
from my black iron railing, glass guards standing agleam.<\/span>
Welcome new wind, weathered, seasoned.  Please sit down<\/span>
while I sink soft  roots, expectant and deep within<\/span>
this soil, my brilliant bucolic burst.<\/span>
