one lifetime<\/span>

butter melting<\/span>
on warm bread<\/span>
Sunday morning<\/span>

At the antique store<\/span>
I saw<\/span>
my memories<\/span>

morning coffee<\/span>
on the patio<\/span>
your chair, empty<\/span>

* * * * *<\/span>

the house is gone<\/span>
bats circle in the evening<\/span>
above the empty space<\/span>
