\nI saw your figure blow out,
\nand me, melting wax in my clothes,
\nsaved the last glimpse of you,
\ngripped on it for the last fraction of a second seized
\non and lingered on and then,
\ntime expired with a long birch cry,
\nturning me over.
\nIt killed me go down to earth like Orpheus,
\nbullied, down the stairs,
\nand see you no more.
\nToday.
\nAs beautiful as the day we met,
\nthe skylight hurts my chest,
\nhaunts me – I breathe heavily,
\nfor I see you coming, smiling,
\nwith an aureole and a foulard;
\nthe open sky is on our back
\nescalating to its roof, the Heaven;
\nbirds soar and hang in the airy
\ngardens above in this spacious home,
\ndangle among psychotropic flowers.
\nI see you coming and I\u2019m waiting
\ncontented, for only seconds separate us
\nnow \u2013 I\u2019m here
\nlike a living star pulsing,
\nlike a flower in the lawn
\nof the house of the sky,
\nthis is how I am happy.
\nYou\u2019re here, we kiss;
\na smudge on the sky is far away.
\nLa petite boule de soleil et de zephyr
\nI give it to you, you give it to me,
\nI\u2019ll clutch my fist, I\u2019ll keep it,
\nwe come we go, parting and meeting,
\nI\u2019ll guard the spell of love,
