Peer<br \/>\nthrough the compressions<br \/>\nand the releases in its many layers<\/p>\n<p>to segments that are pink<br \/>\nand purple \u2013 you will make out<br \/>\na snake coiling in on itself to make a maze.<\/p>\n<p>Follow the concentric paths<br \/>\nled by pointed leaves \u2013 you\u2019ll wonder<br \/>\nwhy they travel with such determination.<\/p>\n<p>You can see the beginnings<br \/>\nof shapes that are still inexplicable.<br \/>\nThis black speck might be a tadpole<\/p>\n<p>in a bubble of spawn<br \/>\nor the eye of a fledgling in an egg.<br \/>\nSomething is waiting to be pulled out,<\/p>\n<p>threaded with breath, wrapped<br \/>\nin light.
