the great big spider<\/p>\n

crawling the wall<\/p>\n

above the rattle<\/p>\n

of computer keys<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

spring has come,<\/p>\n

the ants<\/p>\n

carry it<\/p>\n

into my kitchen<\/p>\n

on their backs<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

*<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

at work<\/p>\n

I find more wrappers<\/p>\n

from stolen CDs<\/p>\n

stuffed into<\/p>\n

the Christian music racks<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

*<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

stepping<\/p>\n

aboard the boat\u2014<\/p>\n

I have already<\/p>\n

reached<\/p>\n

my destination<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

*<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

looking up<\/p>\n

in the parking lot,<\/p>\n

the clamor<\/p>\n

of twenty crows attacking<\/p>\n

a red-tailed hawk<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

the stray cat<\/p>\n

tells me about<\/p>\n

Buddha<\/p>\n

sitting in the shade<\/p>\n

of a wild cherry tree<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

the bus stops<\/p>\n

at the Wal-mart,<\/p>\n

a man with<\/p>\n

a briefcase gets off<\/p>\n

and walks the other way<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
