\nof holidays, wet childhoods,
\nnot a donkey knocked off its feet,
\nnever a death toll of forty in one hour.<\/p>\n
\nI am a siren,
\nI am an orphanage.
\nI am the remnants of a village
\nclinging to a straw roof
\nthousands of miles from your chair.<\/p>\n
\nyes, even the desert.
\nHow would you like that,
\nto see even the barren places
\nbe submerged and mirror sky?
\nDo you know that I am coming?

\nI keep them in business.
\nThat stain on your wall
