\nas usual.
\nMy hand falls
\nfrom the gear stick, outrider
\nfor the electric whirr echo;
\nwhiteout. Landmarks slip,
\ndrumsticks thrash
\nover the earth\u2019s core,
\nthrough my skull.<\/p>\n
\nI slur a name – might be mine –
\ngulp a balloon of air
\nas I roll on the edge
\nof another squall-storm.<\/p>\n
\ntransient suggest the experts.
\nIt\u2019s a clot inside my vein,
\na black-blue spiral of onyx;
\nat the nucleus, blood-drenched strokes of fire.<\/p>\n
