\nas the sky turned pink
\nand the light blossomed.
\nAs the world bloomed, breathed,

\nWhere is she? I wondered.
\nWhat is she doing?
\nRight now, at this moment?
\nAs I watch the blue shadows fade,
\nas a bee taps at my window.<\/p>\n
\nwhen the clouds parted
\nand the moon shimmered.
\nThe way your pale hips shook and fell,
\nand how you bit your lip.
\nAnd your hair,
\nspread like honey on the ground
\nwas soft and all aglow.
\nThe way a blush seeped through your milky skin,
\nsetting you alight beside the blackened river.<\/p>\n
\nfrom the rough weeds of my bed
\nand brushed down my clothes.
\nThe half smile on your lips, afterwards:
\nbefore the glory of the morning.
