Sunset Somewhere Forgets Us<\/span>

And now all the birds are leaving this town,<\/span>
As the sun sinks,<\/span>
Mutters behind the climbing horizon.<\/span>
 <\/span>
And I mean birds as in the feathered kind,<\/span>
All getting out<\/span>
Before the sky comes down on me.<\/span>
 <\/span>
But you\u2019re out there, somewhere,<\/span>
Out of your head,<\/span>
Keeping me off your mind,<\/span>
 <\/span>
Flirting with every other fucker,<\/span>
Pulling them up to dance.<\/span>
So I curse you through thick cigarette smoke.<\/span>
 <\/span>
You know the day\u2019s ridiculous,<\/span>
As ridiculous as me,<\/span>
And you\u2019ve seen it all before.<\/span>
 <\/span>
But you\u2019re like the birds in the free sky,<\/span>
And I\u2019m as bitter as the lost sun.<\/span>
We both part in the darkness.<\/span>
