She\u2019s hated these evenings all along<\/span>

Sometimes men are dim,<\/span>
don\u2019t see the closest thing<\/span>
happening around them.<\/span>
 <\/span>
Like that time Ron\u2019s wife cheated on him<\/span>
with his best friend<\/span>
and he didn\u2019t know until that sorrowful day<\/span>
when he came home early from a business trip<\/span>
to find them hanging curtains together in the bedroom.<\/span>
 <\/span>
Like that time I surprised my girlfriend,<\/span>
showing up at her school unannounced during finals<\/span>
to give her a break from studying,<\/span>
and she surprised me by sending me away<\/span>
because she had plans to spend the day<\/span>
with another guy.<\/span>
 <\/span>
Like recently with me organizing<\/span>
these quiet romantic evenings at home,<\/span>
(I thought women liked romance, silly me)<\/span>
just the two of us, dinner<\/span>
in the dining room by candlelight and soft music,<\/span>
and just finding out that<\/span>
she\u2019s hated these evenings all along.<\/span>
 <\/span>
I can\u2019t help but wonder what else I do<\/span>
that she can\u2019t stand<\/span>
so I can stop it before<\/span>
she runs off again with another man.<\/span>
