House of mis-dysfunction<\/span>

There was never enough love in this house<\/span>
long stretches of silence<\/span>
but I think I've figured it out<\/span>
The sun only shines half of the time<\/span>
and then the moon, a fraction of that<\/span>
and then there's darkness…<\/span>

and there was never enough fun either<\/span>
more so at the beginning<\/span>
but then fewer<\/span>
and farther between<\/span>
and that seemed to be related <\/span>
to the silence<\/span>
as well<\/span>

In the meantime…<\/span>
We would take turns losing our minds. <\/span>
We might be play-tossing our kids with a blanket<\/span>
and one of us might let go of the blanket<\/span>
getting distracted momentarily,<\/span>
while the other would scramble an attempt<\/span>
to grab opposite ends of the blanket<\/span>
at the same time.<\/span>
Hopefully <\/span>in<\/span> time.<\/span>
