\nThe ocean will not wash away.
\nBetter to sing than to die.<\/p>\n
\nLike city lights celestial in the rain,
\nOr something overheard about Idaho,
\nAnd snow falls out of season.
\nThen there is the history of corn:<\/p>\n
\nFound in the wild the saving grace
\nOf what became corn.
\nButtered lightly, it beckons
\nA continent to consume.<\/p>\n
\nEmpires and pioneers,
\nFeasting on corn.
\nA history of the Americas
\nHere is served every day.<\/p>\n
