And they do so quietly<br \/>\nsaving daylight whilst cigarettes<br \/>\nfloat in unfinished drinks.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s cold. Not enough to see my breath,<br \/>\njust a couple of degrees under<\/p>\n<p>on this night to be slept under.<br \/>\nI walk by. They don\u2019t clock<br \/>\nme, they don\u2019t hear my breathing.<br \/>\nThey drift in the quiet;<br \/>\nthis icefield of drunks,<br \/>\ntrading history for cigarettes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nAnd some lad is selling cigarettes.<br \/>\nHe\u2019s parked up, under<br \/>\nad boards for half price drinks.<br \/>\nOn his dashboard, a clock<br \/>\nis an hour short <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isotretinoinonlinebuy.com\">buy isotretinoin mexico<\/a> now, beeping quietly,<br \/>\nall steamed up with breath.<\/p>\n<p>As he smokes, he holds his breath<br \/>\nwith the drag of the cigarette.<br \/>\nI think he appreciates quiet;<br \/>\nappreciates being under<br \/>\nthe concern of clocks.<br \/>\nIf he drank<\/p>\n<p>to anything it would be to drink.<br \/>\nUnwinding his window, breathing<br \/>\nin the night, he decides to clock<br \/>\nout. He throws his cigarette,<br \/>\nand the drunks fall under<br \/>\ntheir mouths full of quiet.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rebecca Bird <\/strong>is a 21 year old writer hailing from the Westcountry.
