after sneaking onto the roof of the apartment<\/span>
my friends and I <\/span>
break out the scotch and cigars<\/span>
 <\/span>
they drink from fancy glasses<\/span>
like my dead relative had<\/span>
while I drink mine from a used soda bottle <\/span>
that still contains traces<\/span>
of high fructose corn syrup<\/span>
 <\/span>
I think about how nineteen years ago<\/span>
I was nursed from a bottle<\/span>
and now I nurse a bottle<\/span>
and in seven years<\/span>
I\u2019ll nurse someone who drinks from a bottle<\/span>
but that\u2019s merely the cycle of things<\/span>
and to make anything more out of it<\/span>
would be overly sentimental. <\/span>
