Neither short nor tall,<br \/>\na pumpkin seed.<\/p>\n<p>Globe boy, floating in Chinese<br \/>\nboxes. He learns to swim young.<br \/>\nHis freckles do not appear<\/p>\n<p>on account of there being no sun.<\/p>\n<p>No amount of gooseberry jam<\/p>\n<p>can entice him.<\/p>\n<p>He is gone<\/p>\n<p>before we even know<\/p>\n<p>of his coming.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lydia Searle<\/strong> studied BA English with Creative Writing at Goldsmiths College and graduated in 2011.
