In the<br \/>\nzoo you were loved and triple-fed.<br \/>\nThe school trips, coach-loads and family<br \/>\ngroups; gawping at your indecision.<\/p>\n<p>When they let you out to roam the streets,<br \/>\nat what crossroads were you given a <em>genus<\/em>?<br \/>\nWalk\/Don\u2019t Walk, Fly\/Don\u2019t Fly, Swim.<br \/>\nYour unique agony of choice.<\/p>\n<p>From the book depository window, a view:<br \/>\nthe river, a street and vault of sky.<br \/>\n<em>My god, they\u2019ve shot the President!<br \/>\n<\/em>The knoll\u2019s talon, fin and thin black tie.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><\/p>\n<p><\/span>Born in 1963 in West Hartlepool, England, <strong>Martin Malone<\/strong> now teaches in Wiltshire.
