\nlike exorcizing a stubborn demon.
\nSo my telephone imagination
\nexpects a plain face to a tuneless voice,
\nbut beside the front door geraniums and herbs cling
\nto the upper story\u2019s cliff face,
\ninside your rooms wear a bespoke suit\u2019s grey and white chic,
\nfinished with baroque flourishes.
\nNow I understand your niggling pain,
\nthat this home\u2019s tenancy might be withdrawn
\nlike a Greek god\u2019s favour.<\/p>\n
