Solly, this life will be the death of us.<\/span>
Fat man prat-falling,<\/span>
each laugh hurts like a punch<\/span>
for my poodle-man in a flimsy ruff.<\/span>
Otto says he no longer finds you funny,<\/span>
walks you like a tiger he has broken<\/span>
and taken pleasure breaking.<\/span>

I\u2019ll hold your heart up to all of them,<\/span>
heavy glass jar of thick, bright honey,<\/span>
show how it curls in its hot descent.<\/span>
Solly, the boatman\u2019s waiting to carry us away.<\/span>
Let it be tonight you vanish inside that costume,<\/span>
its empty cloud collapsing on the stage,<\/span>
an iron lung you won\u2019t need where we are going.<\/span>
