the kitchen tap \u2013 cold water<\/span>
splashing into the bowl.<\/span>


Wednesday<\/span>

Under bitter skies<\/span>
long, frosty days,<\/span>

a chill in the air<\/span>
echoing<\/span>

on the wrong side<\/span>
of the sunlit street.<\/span>


Friday<\/span>

She remembers being<\/span>
covered in breeze.<\/span>

Remembers the harbour<\/span>
of red brick and old stone.<\/span>

Gulls diving <\/span>
into the sea.<\/span>
