For Sale: Memory for a Song  <\/span>
 <\/span>
My grandparents\u2019 house has been sold and moved <\/span>
to a remote corner in the left hemisphere <\/span>
of my brain, but Chopin\u2019s <\/span>Nocturne in e minor<\/span> has never <\/span>
left my fingers. My cousin lost her alphabet, the evil <\/span>
joker Stroke erased the board, but the words <\/span>
married to melodies remain on her lips.<\/span>
 <\/span>
Funny how I can\u2019t retrieve the data file of our second <\/span>
kiss. But I recall vividly the first one, because \u201cWake Up, <\/span>
Little Suzie\u201d was on the radio. Yes, I\u2019m laughing, thinking, <\/span>
hypnosis<\/span> <\/span>might do the trick<\/span>\u2014forget it all, forget <\/span>
I ever met you\u2026 <\/span>
 <\/span>
But when I am old and you are still<\/span>
not here<\/span>
let me ride back in time on the verse of a song\u2014<\/span>
let me think<\/span>
you are.<\/span>
