I want to be<br \/>\nthe crowd of stars where Love hid his face,<br \/>\nthe fistful of filings we stole<br \/>\nfrom the jar in a dull Chemistry lesson<br \/>\nand sprinkled on the burner;<br \/>\nHow I\u2019ll fizz and crackle; I will not be<br \/>\nany old firework exploding over<br \/>\nyour dark garden, but a new constellation<br \/>\ninvisible to the naked eye<br \/>\nand before the final burnout<br \/>\nI will see the Earth in a new light<br \/>\nand the stars close to, like that Lego man<br \/>\nalone in space juddering up, up, up.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carole Bromley<\/strong> is a teacher from York.
