\nOn days like this I imagine
\nhe watches from a bench in the park.
\nHaving eaten his sandwiches and fed the birds
\nhe spends the rest of the hour
\nobserving the comings and goings
\nand when he yawns it is a great yawn
\nof possibility and all that contains it
\nand when my mouth splays wide
\nand I\u2019m threatening (even when I\u2019m not)
\nbut the feeling, the feeling is
\n<\/em>he\u2019ll understand and move on
\ncareful not to disturb the animals.<\/p>\n
