Dean Taylor on the dance floor.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t long before I was dancing too.<br \/>\n(Later, I invented my disgust<\/p>\n<p>at his get up to hurt the friend with me).<\/p>\n<p>Music is always doing things to scenes and bodies:<br \/>\nrhythms marked with the weight of heads,<br \/>\na foot tapping, the <em>Stadtmenschen<\/em> gathering in the square,<\/p>\n<p>and the good political sense of every smile.<br \/>\nIn the condensation on the window<\/p>\n<p>I draw a five line staff and leave it blank.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duncan Jones<\/strong> lives in Birmingham.
