\nwhere a month ago hordes of his migrating kind
\nfluttered their wings in orange-black harmony.
\nWhere were you then lone straggler?
\nNow our solo flyer is off
\nfloating above seaside streets to the empty beach,
\nand then bobbing on a too chilly wind skimming
\nover the white capped Atlantic southwest to New Jersey.
\nYou might just make it
\nlate fall bloomer, Mexican-bound voyager, orange-black streamer,
\ncaboose of your entire race.<\/p>\n
