Each sky<br \/>\nis the mirrored apprehension<\/p>\n<p>of its own idea, and each idea<br \/>\npropels us further into<\/p>\n<p>the essential symmetry of landscape,<br \/>\nwhich neither reaches nor recedes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Peter Taylor<\/strong> has published three books and his poems, which explore how history and imagination shape our perceptions, have appeared in nine countries.
