Constable becomes Banksy<\/span>

The sun shines,<\/span>
swans are gliding the river<\/span>
which runs through,<\/span>
soft, silent  and true,<\/span>
and this fine spring day<\/span>
could be a John Constable,<\/span>
with  me, strolling in the canvas.<\/span>

As I walk I smell  the freshness<\/span>
of a newly painted barge,<\/span>
and wave to its owner<\/span>
who  sits in a recliner on the verge,<\/span>
reading a book next to a tired looking  dog.<\/span>

Further on,<\/span>
I pass two policewomen<\/span>
in crisp, white, short  sleeved shirts,<\/span>
who look happy and are smiling at each other,<\/span>
as if they  had just hugged or kissed,<\/span>
and were in love.<\/span>
