A Touch Of Redbud<\/span>
 <\/span>
Spring reconciles the hillside,<\/span>
and recalls her elegance.<\/span>
 <\/span>
Bitter arms mellow, and bud<\/span>
into magenta tufts snatched<\/span>
 <\/span>
from nestling in deep winter<\/span>
pockets. She pardons her<\/span>
 <\/span>
branches through dazzling<\/span>
celebrity crowds of dogwood,<\/span>
 <\/span>
and flowering plum; gently<\/span>
stroking the strut of assumed<\/span>
 <\/span>
preeminence. A rosy-pink<\/span>
supporting roll, for a gentle,<\/span>
 <\/span>
                        gracious lady.<\/span>
 <\/span>

Call me Angel, call me Devil.<\/span>
Call me whatever you will \u2013<\/span>

For a deep religious theme<\/span>
the bloody leaves of Wild Arum<\/span>
make me Eve to your Adam,<\/span>
Parson to your Clerk,<\/span>
Quaker, silent in wood\u2019s dark.<\/span>
 <\/span>
Call me Angel, call me Devil.<\/span>
Call me whatever you will \u2013<\/span>
 <\/span>
Hurry, hurry, Wake Robin<\/span>
have him thread a new Bobbin<\/span>
weave a cloth for Queens and Kings, <\/span>
Ramp it well with Starch Root,<\/span>
let it cloak the Naked Boys.<\/span>
 <\/span>
Call me Angel, call me Devil.<\/span>
Call me whatever you will \u2013<\/span>
 <\/span>
Fit me with a Friar\u2019s Cowl.<\/span>
If I\u2019m a Cow then you\u2019re a Bull<\/span>
or with the Adder\u2019s Root I\u2019m bit,<\/span>
so name me Jack in the Pulpit.<\/span>
 <\/span>
Choose now from this long name hoard.<\/span>
If I\u2019m a Lady, are you my Lord?<\/span>
