\nactually were there, who voted,
\nbattled, marched, or wish they had,
\nwill then be gone or half-forgotten –
\nmisremembered, some will say –
\nas hard-won calm and harmony
\nbecomes again the only way to live.
\nMost young will scarcely recognise
\ntheir ancestors\u2019 self-ruin, nor truly grasp
\nthe reasons for the wrath that followed.<\/p>\n
\nour madness will be written out in
\nthree fast-flowing hours, new futures
\nnow dependent on our past:

\nWhat role did politicians play…?<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
\nthought dormant to re-germinate;

\nchoking, grotesque weeds.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
