\nbut really, it was a defining moment.<\/p>\n
\nhe sends a messenger to
\ntell me it was all just a joke<\/p>\n
\nand laugh off the residue.<\/p>\n
\nnot disheartened, I follow
\nhim home for weeks, make friends
\nwith his mum. She said he liked me
\nso I cling onto that, for six more years.<\/p>\n
\nbut it’s just the start of something
\nmuch more consuming.<\/p>\n
