The heart<br \/>\nwill become an unripe cacti fresh and cold,<\/p>\n<p>bulging in liquid with hairs and horns<br \/>\na tenderness revealed to all.<\/p>\n<p>Show us that the moon is broken<br \/>\npeel away the broken glass<br \/>\nfrom the light that shatters;<\/p>\n<p>Place the brightness inside<br \/>\nwhere the repletion of the dark<br \/>\nlimps like a broken smile laid to rest.<\/p>\n<p>Show me the sunset not the mouth<br \/>\ncovering the concrete owl.
