On my rooftop<\/span>
city stretching beyond.<\/span>
 <\/span>
Sound of shadows<\/span>
in late night.<\/span>
 <\/span>
You're pressing into me<\/span>
tease and tug.<\/span>
 <\/span>
Posing your breasts,<\/span>
flinging out your arms.<\/span>

Gravel on your bare back.<\/span>

NIGHT FRINGE<\/span>


We sit with our sticks<\/span>
stirring the lake,<\/span>
tired of being<\/span>
irritable…<\/span>

Telling old stories<\/span>
of when the sky was blue,<\/span>
the water drinkable,<\/span>
women skinny-dipping<\/span>
within our serenity.<\/span>

Now we wait<\/span>
for the last bite on the line<\/span>
pulling us under…<\/span>

Other men taking our places,<\/span>
not noticing<\/span>
the bubbling water.<\/span>
