And later, furs \u2013<\/p>\n<p>rabbit, squirrel, black-tipped guards<br \/>\nand undercoats of lush afternoons.<br \/>\nI filleted the freezer and scared men<br \/>\nwith a rare smile, but the one<\/p>\n<p>for sorrow was one, two, many.<br \/>\nHe is less familiar to me now.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jane Murray Bird<\/strong> lives in Edinburgh and studied creative writing with the Open University in Scotland, gaining a first-class honours degree while home-educating her children.
